*       For Cash Deposit above Rs.100000/-, cash handling charges @ Re.1/- per Rs.1000/- or part thereof shall be collected, subject to a minimum of Rs. 100/- and a maximum of Rs.2500/- per transaction.

*       Cash handling charges shall be collected from customer for remitting cash to the credit of their CA/OD/CC accounts, at the base branch only.

*       The charges are uniformly applicable to all branches.

*       If a customer makes two or more remittances of cash in a day, cash handling charges shall be collected, if the total remittance during the day exceeds the exempted limit of Rupees One Lakh.

Customers are exempted from cash handling charges for remitting cash to their SB accounts irrespective of the amount.

Inspection charges are to be collected quarterly in advance.

1.      Inspection Charges include Pre-sanction, Post-sanction,Security verification, Godown inspection, Recovery visits, etc. However for loans above Rs.2 lakhs, the charges prescribed are only minimum and branch may charge higher depending upon the work load involved.

2.      The inspection charges in all cases of advances to weaker sections - in case of SHGs, the group is treated as a unit for collecting the inspection charges.

IX.           

CHARGES FOR DELAYED SUBMISSION OF STOCK STATEMENTS:

 

In case of delay in submission of stock statements on due date after loan is disbursed, an amount of Rs.150/- per occasion to be charged in respect of SOCC and Rs.500/- per occasion in respect of LOCC, irrespective of the fact that the stock statements are submitted subsequently.

The Bank shall invariably furnish a copy of the loan agreement along with a copy of all enclosures quoted in the loan agreement to all the borrowers at the time of sanction / disbursement of loans, even in the absence of specific request from the borrower.

OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES (OPE)

 

All expenses actually incurred for servicing the borrowal accounts such as inspection, pre-sanction and post-sanction visits, recovery visits, insurance, valuation charges payable to approved valuers in respect of land, building, plant, machinery, vehicles, sending notices, etc. should be collected from the borrower.

 

PART F: MISCELLANEOUS POINTS

 

1.  For any other concessions / discretions / waivers, branches will have to obtain the written permission of competent authority, by submitting the request for concessional facilities as per format enclosed. The Chairman will delegate the powers to offer concessions to various functionaries as deemed necessary.

2.  Wherever any particular scheme permits waiver of concessions in contrary to what is mentioned here, then the service charges / processing charges / inspection charges mentioned in that specific scheme will be final, as long as alternative instructions are not issued.

3. Service tax plus any other statutory charges thereon shall be collected in addition, wherever applicable, as per circulars / communications issued from HO.

COMMISSION NEED NOT BE LEVIED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES

A. Collection of Cheques :

(In the event of system collecting any service charges, the same shall be refunded manually, after confirming genuineness)

*         Instruments sent in clearing, if realised promptly

*         Local and outstanding Cheques tendered for collection by Departments of State, and other local bodies like Grama Panchayath, etc. Postage also need not be charged.

*         Instruments involving Subsidies and Margin money and instruments deposited by officials.

*         Cheques issued by of India made from Prime Ministerís Relief Fund.

*         Cheques issued as per Court orders, the proceeds which are invested in deposits with us. Postage also waived.

*         Cheques tendered by Advocates representing the amount remitted in court for credit of LPD accounts at our branches. Postage also waived.

 

*         Instruments received in Non-Resident Indiansí accounts, the proceeds of which are credited to their NR accounts.

B. DD COMMISSION

*       DD Commission need not be collected in the following remittances:

*       In the event of system collecting any service charges, the same shall be refunded manually, after confirming genuineness

*         Remittance of proceeds of loans granted under SGSY / DRI / Government Sponsored / Subsidy oriented schemes. Postage also need not be collected†† (For all other loan accounts, commission / postage to be levied)

*         Remittance of insurance premia (initial as well as renewal) in respect of loans granted under DRI / SGSY /Other Government. sponsored schemes / Crop insurance. Postage also need not be collected (For all other loan accounts, commission & postal tariff are to be levied).

*         Remittance of maturity proceeds (including closure before maturity) of term deposits as per instructions of the depositor, irrespective of the amount of deposit, provided the same is made in the name of the depositor only).

*         Remittance of Government funds by DRDA and other Government Departments involved in implementation of Government sponsored schemes like SGSY / Social Security Schemes, etc.

*         Remittance in terms of attachment orders issued by Courts and remittance of Court collections in respect of EPs/Suits, etc. made by Panel Advocates to the credit of loan / LPD accounts of our branches, postage also need not be collected.

*         Issue of DD for remitting RR proceeds, provided the recovery relates to more branches.

*         Remittance towards Prime Ministers Relief Fund of all State / Union territories.

*         DDs issued to Local Self Government Institutions for bona fide Government purposes.

C. DEPOSIT RECEIPTS / ACCOUNTS ACCEPTED FOR COLLECTION

OUTWARD

When deposits in question are with our own branches, commission need not be collected When the deposits in question are with other banks, commission & postage may be waived if the proceeds are deposited with us, in our term deposit schemes, for a minimum period of 91 days.

INWARD

For items received from our own branches, commission & postal tariff need not be levied.

PAYMENT OF INTEREST OF TERM DEPOSIT WITH OUR BANK

When proceeds are sent to our own branches / directly to customers, commission & postal tariff need not be collected
